Application Notes

If simulating VCOs is of interest, then look at our design brief: Modelling VCOs, then download and run the WinSPICE3 testbench in FMmod.zip

We show how S Parameters maybe simulated using WinSPICE3 in: Scattering Parameter Simulation in WinSPICE3, for which the example netlist VNAtest.zip may also be downloaded.

An early draft version of our note Mixer Gain Simulation in WinSPICE3
along with its companion MixerTest.zip netlist.

For those interested in building mathematical models of Phase-Locked Loop transient behaviour, the prediction of PLL Phase-Noise performance and estimating Phase-Frequency Detector Spurii, we also have a Design Note "PLL System Design" available for download.

Evaluation Cards
If you would prefer to construct your own test cards you can download the DXF files, BOM, PIC Firmware and Application Software we use for our application boards when evaluating our standard products.

IP cells

The following Analogue IP cells for 0.35um CMOS ASIC designs are available for download ....

Low Voltage Op-Amp

Low Dropout Bandgap

Low Voltage Crystal Oscillator

RF Up/Down Mixer

Analogue Multiplier

Voltage Controlled Oscillator

Differential Voltage Comparator

gm-C Low Pass Filter

Low Noise Amplifier

The IP for these cells may be accessed through our IPcell page.  You might also like to email us to register your interest, or request porting to other feature size
CMOS technologies, or file reformatting for simulation or layout in other tools.
