Notes If simulating VCOs is of interest, then look at our design brief: Modelling VCOs, then download and run the WinSPICE3 testbench in FMmod.zip We show how S Parameters maybe simulated using WinSPICE3 in: Scattering Parameter Simulation in WinSPICE3, for which the example netlist VNAtest.zip may also be downloaded. An early draft version of our note Mixer Gain Simulation in WinSPICE3 along with its companion MixerTest.zip netlist. For those interested in building mathematical models of Phase-Locked Loop transient behaviour, the prediction of PLL Phase-Noise performance and estimating Phase-Frequency Detector Spurii, we also have a Design Note "PLL System Design" available for download.
